Description
When working with little ones via telepractice, you need to have a lot planned to keep their attention. I’ve developed a format to provide some structure for my toddlers that includes about 50% parent coaching. I use a different theme for each session, which is consistent throughout all of my direct intervention materials.
This download includes a standard template for planning telepractice sessions with toddlers that balances direct intervention with parent coaching. It includes 7 winter themed lesson plans that follow the following format:
- Read a book
- Watch a video
- Activity to elicit language
- Parent/e-helper coaching
The seven themes included in this download are winter, Christmas, snow, snowman, gingerbread man, Christmas tree, and winter clothes. Each lesson plan includes:
- A list of recommended websites and physical materials for providers and families
- Suggested prompts to use to elicit language
- 4 Coloring worksheet alternatives for those who may not have recommended toys
- 2 Winter-themed boom card decks
By purchasing this digital download, you will have access to my curated list of online books and videos and customized coloring worksheets. These worksheets can be sent to parents or e-helpers to print for use during your telepractice or distance learning sessions.
I use these lesson plans in my own practice, and they have been a LIFESAVER!
Take the stress out of planning for your telepractice sessions with toddlers by purchasing this resource.
